I'm Robbie

I've been into photography since my sixth grade patrol trip. My mom gave me her Kodak Instamatic camera and a roll of film. I came home with five rolls of film!

By the time I was a junior in high school, I had saved up money for a "real" camera. The Pentax K1000 was all manual: exposure, focusing, advancing the film, you name it. I read lots of books, subscribed to photography magazines, and learned the "ins and outs" of photography the hard way: I experimented and learned what worked, what didn't, and how to make images better the next time.

I have turned my expensive hobby into a business starting six years ago. I don't charge really high fees because who can afford them? But you do get decades of experience and education from the "school of hard knocks" for your hard-earned money. I'm a photographer for the people.

I have recently been accepted as a juried artisan at Tamarack Marketplace in Beckley, WV. I have won numerous awards for my photography. I've been published in a few publications, one being the Wonderful West Virginia magazine. I do commercial work for businesses, portraits, weddings, and even shoot pictures for Door Dash.

With all that experience and confidence in my work, surely you will agree that I am the photographer to turn your ideas into images.
